My first Maison Blanche paint project was one for outdoors! It included a DIY Rugby Striped Rug and Cross Pattern Curtains for my screen porch. I used Maison Blanche Vintage Furniture Paint in Navy. The orange crosses were painted with a big box brand. I have to say that by the end of summer, the Navy in both my rug and curtains was still vivid and crisp! The orange, however, had started to fade. Lesson learned!
For my next Maison Blanche project, I decided to paint furniture! Isn't that a novel idea! I painted a very traditional style dresser with Maison Blanche Mardi Gras and Oyster to transform the piece into something that would look right at home in a beach cottage.
I've saved my favorite furniture makeover for last! For this petite French Provincial Dresser, I used Maison Blanche La Chaux French Lime Paint in Coquille and Garconniere. I am in LOVE with how this dresser turned out!
My latest project with Maison Blanche was a Noel sign I made for our bedroom this past Christmas. I used a combination of Oyster furniture paint and La Chaux Garconniere and Petite Chateaux.

The most obvious tool you need for painting is a paint brush and roller. But, there are so many options - how do you choose? To me, there's nothing more frustrating than painting a project and having your paint brush shed bristles onto your freshly painted surface.
