"It's a Marshmallow World in the Winter
When the Snow Comes to Cover the Ground
It's the Time for Play, It's a Whipped Cream Day
I Wait for it the Whole Year Round"
If you are a regular reader here, you know I love to have a beverage station set up in my dining room - especially in the fall and winter months when it's cold outside. It's nice to have a warm beverage at the ready when you come inside. My idea for this Marshmallow World hot cocoa bar, came from this Anthropologie window display.
I strung mini marshmallows on fishing line and hung them from the top of the mirror.
The hot cocoa mix is in the glass pedestal container - just add 1/4 cup to your mug and fill with hot water. This is the best hot cocoa mix I have ever had - it has white chocolate bits added to the mix that kicks it up a notch! You can find the recipe HERE.
The red and white of the candy canes, straws, runner, and Coke crate gives a nod to Valentine's Day in a subtle way.
I created a banner using some of the prints from Josh and Sarah's engagement photo shoot. In Picmonkey, I used the Poloroid frame effect and added the words to the last verse of Marshmallow World.
I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the vinyl "me" and "you" for the mugs.
"It's a Yum-Yummy World Made for Sweethearts
Take a Walk with your Favorite Girl
It's a Sugar Date, What if Spring is Late
In Winter it's a Marshmallow World."
